Planting Day

jpegghost I got out a lot of anger about the fridge and car Thursday evening after work. I used the trench shovel to dig a tunnel to our garbage can because I cannot handle a life with dog and cat poop bags on my front porch anymore. I have an aesthetic to upkeep, and we JUST got rid of the mattress on our front porch. (Not our mattress).
There are some books called Foxfire that I own, they're old stories of Appalachian superstition published in the 70s, that interviews old folks from the turn of the century. In it, there was an entry on planting by the signs and the moon. At first it was a joke when I planted some garlic, but it is now unkillable. I planted some marigolds and rosemary by the moon and they have been growing well. Today was another planting date to keep up the experiment. 4 more marigolds, and summer and winter thyme. I still need to find an image supporting host bc I want to show you all what I'm planting but ... ffhhhh. Is Photobucket still a thing.
We were supposed to get snow today but we didn't which is great bc I am pretty tired of busting ass on the ice skating rink outside my house. Also, my fridge / freezer were magically working again yesterday so I guess I DON'T have to repair that. Yeehaw. Progressive said they'll cover our car repair which is even nicer, I just hate waiting at car shops all day lmao so we will get to that eventually...
