Quarantine Vibes, and an Intro

Listen, we all miss the old days of LJ. You know what I mean, you're here after all. We all miss just talking about our boring lives without having to make the quick witticisms of 140-count social media constraints. We all like talking about the grocery store, or going to Applebees, or a book we finished, and right here is a way to ramble for days about the White Peach Sangria drinks at Applebees. Or whatever else there is to talk about.
So, you all are gonna be subject to me here. Where I talk about my cross stitch, or a cool bug I found, or if a corpse puked on me today at work. I've been wanting to get into journaling but I had no reason to until I just decided to Just Do It (tm).
Since everyone is talking about the quarantine, let's talk about that: As a mortician, I'm considered essential. I'm still going into work, which is whatever since money, but I'm getting jealous of all my friends who have free time for things like Animal Crossing and sleeping in until 9. (I, for reference, have to wake up at 7 AM).
I'm pretty lucky to have today and tomorrow off, though -- I'm chugging through Tom Nook's loans at a moderate speed and when I'm not doing that, I'm doing a cross stitch of lemonade for my kitchen. I'm pretty chill with the quarantine; A lot of my hobbies are indoors, so it's not like I'm missing out. Me and my boyfriend, Alex, have been spending most of our time with videogames, crafts, TV, or him studying for his licensing exam while I lounge nearby enjoying that I'm not going to be dealing with academia until the 6th, where I'm going to be finishing the last half of my mortuary degree. Hurray, Anatomy II and Microbiology!
I plan on journaling regularly to get my thoughts down. Even if it's just talking about some dumb thing I did or watched, it's nice to look back, right?!
