I don’t really have an simple name for our decor style. Most of our art is on the fantastical/surrealist spectrum minus some inherited antiques from a variety of regions (G’s father is Dutch-British but spent much of his adult life in China and Malaysia), and the furniture is a blend of inherited antiques (same regions) and IKEA XD
(All of the antiques are from G’s side of the family. My family had everything circa 70/80’s Sears Catalog and everything I had going into the relationship was of the IKEA and “uni student second-hand shabby chic” variety.)
