I'm tempted to sign up for a trial of Disney + just to watch it. I love the music but haven't had a chance to see the whole show.
And I agree that living history things (be they battle reenactments, or towns like Colonial Williamsburg) are important. Most reenactors I have chatted with want people to realize how brutal and vicious war is and not glorify it. They want people to see the hardships involved as well as see the way things may have worked during a different time period. I think that historical reenactments can help counter some of the glossy history Hollywood likes to show us, especially if they're well done.
