We do use coolers, which is the industry term, but I say freezer colloquially so people can imagine it better. Bodies in storage, in Texas, must be in an environment between 45-30F iirc. We had someone unembalmed who wasn't going to be picked up until morning, so we had to move them to the very cold unit (closer to 30F) rather than our prep room which is the 45F area.
