I'm Looking At Heirloom Seeds Now

Still moving. A lot of things are thankfully falling into place right now; 50% of the plants are here, the shiba is here (and uncertain about it all). Me and Alex are getting comfy but I'm so tired from it all that I'm kind of a blob when I'm not at work. I'll take a picture of our place soon. It's very parallel; on one side, the kitchen has copper jello molds hanging from the walls and cast iron pots while on the other side we have a TV playing RuPaul suspended on a comically small archery block.

I want to sew up some placemats or table runners or table cloth soon to make the place more inviting but that will probably have to wait since we have piles of books and no bookshelf. We can make furniture out of the amount of books we have. We could make a miniature castle. There's just so many. And we ... Probably need a TV stand. The archery block can only take so much abuse.

I desperately want to start growing kale but they're all sold out at local stores! Are people growing stuff now during the pandemic?! After 8 months?! I JUST WANT TO GROW KALE IN EGG CARTONS!

Moving always tires you out so rest while you can. And have you looked online for kale seeds? Surely they'd have some there.

I found some heirloom kale online that I ordered. I got carrots too :9 I wanted to get rainbow carrots but they had a poor score. I think they may just look good, not taste good?

I hope your online seeds work out well for you. And I've never even heard of rainbow carrots! What a thing. I'm surprised they haven't been in a skittles commercial by now. LOL.

What kind of carrots did you wind up getting?

Mama likes to grow carrots and they're delicious.
