I've been watching Cowboy Bebop with Alex, I'm only about 3 episodes in but I'm having a lot of fun! I barely watch anime, and I've only started reading manga again (I'm not hip and with it)... I've been reading Vinland Saga at night, now that I finished Chainsaw Man. (Which I didn't like that much)

Anyways after a tattoo today I kind of derped around the shop and was just drawing random shapes to loosen up my hand (I clench it pretty tight when I'm stretching the skin), and figured I'd draw over the random shapes ... This Ilya turned out ok!

Art friends I recommend you try drawing over basic shapes, it's pretty fun.

HMMM. I am not an anime conneuseur (i cant spell and im leaving it that way). I think it's fun, and the music is really good. The characters are likable and diverse. I'll keep you guys updated. It's a classic so it must be good ... RIGHT?

(Cut to me being disappointed by Citizen Kane and saying classics are all shit, circa 5 years ago)

Ilya SHOULD be a model but he's too busy thinking about choking out Igor. But also, maybe that's what makes his pout so good? The unbridled hatred/lust combo?

LMAO, I get that. The conclusion of the first season made me angry while everyone else talked about how it made them tear up, so... that was my experience.

I think that one review that called it (heavily paraphrased) "an okay anime packaged in the exact way it knows would make audiences love it" was on point. The art, music, and animation were all there, imo. But the story and heart weren't.
